Title Transportation and Technology Timeline Benchmark: H-1A-M1 describing chronological relationships and patterns H-1D-M1 describing the contributions of people, events, movements, and ideas that have been significant in the history of Louisiana Time 20 minutes Materials Objective Create a timeline of transportation and technology developments that effected the Victorian Era Procedure Place note centers around the classroom. Allow students to walk around the classroom and copy the notes at the various centers. As students finish have them begin on the timeline worksheet – inputting the events and dates into the appropriate spaces on the timeline worksheet. Review the timeline and events with the students and discuss how those events impacted Victorian life. Reproducible Materials Note Centers
