Building Identification Stations

G-1B-M1 explaining and analyzing both the physical
and human phenomena associated with specific places, including
precipitation and settlement patterns
Procedures
After reviewing building types and common structural elements
of Downtown Louisiana buildings, have students construct a chart
to record their answers. Post and number printable images throughout
the classroom. Have students rotate in small groups from station
to station naming each structural element or building type. Students
should list clues from the image that lead them to infer the building
type. After all groups have completed every station, review answers
as a class.
